Home for the Holidays

The Gallery Store at the Museum of Contemporary Craft (MoCC) features beautifully handcrafted objects with a modern design focus. From one-of-a-kind legacy pieces by nationally known craft artists, many of whom are in the Museum’s collection, to fresh work by up and coming Northwest designers and artists, the work is selected to reflect the Museum’s mission and longstanding commitment to incorporating the beauty of craft and design into the rhythms of everyday life.

Established in 1937, the Museum of Contemporary Craft renovated the Gallery Store in 2012. Today the Gallery Store features work by hundreds of artists and craftspeople and supports the mission of MoCC, a national treasure as the country’s oldest museum dedicated to contemporary craft.

Bridging Downtown, Old Town and The Pearl, the Gallery Store is midway between Powell’s Books and the Lan Su Chinese Garden in the gallery-rich DeSoto building just off from NW Broadway.

Exclusive Pop-Up: Flow Gallery, London

For a special Home for the Holidays event, the Gallery Store will carry an exclusive collection of craft objects from London’s Flow Gallery, including works by Edmond Byrne, Henk Wolvers, Hans Henning Pederson, and Nuala O’Donovan, all of which will be seen in Portland for the first time.
