Alfred Edelman: The Studio Prints

ESSAYS BY JEANA EDELMAN '85 & CHAS BOWIE

In recognition of the tenth anniversary of the Alfred Edelman Lecture at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), the College has published Alfred Edelman: The Studio Prints. This collection of photographs, many of which have never been published, offer a view into the artistic vision and creative spirit of Alfred Edelman—Portland-based artist, architect and entrepreneur—who was also the co-founder of Delphina’s Bakery and Hot Lips Pizza. Working primarily in black and white, Edelman explored buildings, forms and details in rural and urban environments, documenting both human achievement and decay.

Edited by: Jeana Edelman and Ann S. Hudner
