Saturday, July 12, 2008, Museum of Contemporary Craft held its Annual Gala on the North Park Blocks. A picturesque summer evening provided the backdrop as the Museum celebrated the recently published book, Unpacking the Collection. 400 attendees exceeded the gala’s goal, ensuring the continued vitality of our programs. Special thanks are due to Oregon Art Beat’s KC Cowan, the event’s emcee, and Mayor-elect Sam Adams, who gave a poignant address on the Museum’s move and the organization’s importance to the Portland arts community. Thanks again to all the volunteers and sponsors for making this another successful gala! |
